横山起朗による最初のピアノ作品集のアルバム。ポーランド国立ショパン音楽大学の留学中に制作された。クラシック音楽を勉強していく中で、ピアノという楽器の豊かさを学んでいったが、同時により個人的な音楽の制作に興味が向っていった。
10代の頃より練習の合間に即興演奏をしたり自作曲のスケッチを多く残していた彼にとって、作曲を始めるのは自然の流れだった。
これまでに書き溜めていたいくつもの曲の断片を一つ一つかたちにしていき、曲それぞれに個性のある独立した作品が集っていった。
彼にとっての始まりの一枚となったアルバムである。 -
This is the first album of piano works by Tatsuro Yokoyama. It was produced during his studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Poland. During his studies in classical music, he learnt a lot about the depth of the piano instrument. At the same time, he became interested in composing original music.
Since his teenage years he had been improvising in between rehearsals and had left many ideas for his own compositions. It was a natural progression for him to start composing with these ideas. He collected fragments of the songs he had written and began to shape them one by one. The result was a collection of independent pieces, each with its own character. This album marked the beginning of his career as a musician.
